ReplyDeleteWhen I went to go take the test a message came up that said, "To view this page, you must log in to area “webmail.middletownk12.org” on webmail.middletownk12.org:443." and that I needed a username and password. I tried my school logon and that did not work so I asked my friend swhat they did and they said theirs did the same exact thing so I couldn't take it.

ReplyDeleteThe PARCC Test is a lot like all of the other tests we take. I feel like a lot of the answers were too close in meaning, its kind of tricky. I don't really like tests like this.

There are so many passages and words I didn't recognize , it was hard for me. I really didn't like it.

Each individual question required a lot of thought. I feel like if the test were timed I would not finish.

ReplyDeleteThe vocab wasn't too difficult, but the multiple choice questions weren't worded in a fashion that I understood. Also took me a long time, if I was timed I would most likely not finish in time

I do not like that the test is on the computer let alone on the chrome books because they are small and hard to read all the passages. Also, the vocabulary was difficult and I would much rather take it on paper then on the chrome book, or on a regular sized computer.

As long as each passage is, there should be more questions. It seems pointless to read a passage and only answer 2 question.

ReplyDeleteSam S - If its anything like what I've heard, Im not a fan for it. The reading itself would take up all the time and the fact that its online makes it even worse. Taking it on laptops would be a disaster and don't even get me started on the school's technological problems. Overall, the test is a NO for me.

DeleteI did not have trouble using this site, although I had trouble reading and understanding the passages. Also, I didn't understand most of the vocabulary. Sorry this is late, every time I tried to leave a comment it got deleted.
ReplyDeleteI feel that this test is outrageous. How do they expect me to take a test when they have no idea how to grade me? With the hespa there was a way to grade an it actually showed me what i did wrong. This test will never show me what i got wrong and my grading means absolutely nothing. Furthermore, what if i have a problem reading and doing math on a computer? my grade could be highly affected because i have issue or trouble reading stories online. Also, this is a terrible idea to have an online test because with everyone taking the test at the same exact time the test will crash an be faulty taking more time outta the school day and what i could really be learning to take some B.S test. I feel that this test is to faulty for us to be taking this soon, it needs more time and to finish all the bugs before they expect me to take this.

ReplyDeleteDead honestly I was not a fan of this test. The vocab was tough and it was not enjoyable. I am very mad and do not ever want to encounter an experience like this ever again. Thank you for your time.
ReplyDeleteI believe that this test was not efficiently set up, and not fluid to navigate through. This makes it much more difficult than they had to make it, and the fact that is on the computer is asinine. There is a very good chance that once all of those people log on, the computers will take a turn for the worse. I give it a thumbs down.

ReplyDeleteThis test is very long and I am a slow reader and it would take me a long time to get it done so if I was time I would have trouble and might not be able to finish and some of the answers are similar and difficult.
ReplyDeleteI did not like the test, very lengthy and distracting being on the computer. It is also going to be slow with school wifi and the test itself is tricky. (Comment didn't go through)
